Graduates of the Sustainable Market Transformation program will build the skills and knowledge to advance new, sustainable approaches to design practice and new, sustainable categories of design products and services.

Research & Theory

Electives in Architecture & Sustainability

You'll work with your advisor to choose elective courses that build deep knowledge of design and sustainability.


  • Two electives are required.

  • Additional electives are optional.

Business & Real Estate Development

You'll take courses from University of Arizona's Eller College of Management outstanding MBA program and CAPLA's Master of Real Estate Development program.


  • Introduction to Real Estate Development

  • Leadership and Teams

  • Negotiations

  • Marketing Strategy or Product Strategy



Choose three semesters or four to develop your research skills and professional network.

If you choose the 3-semester program you will complete a focused project report, while the 4-semester program will allow you time for an in-depth original research thesis and the possibility of additional coursework.
